Waste processing equipementselectric and electronic ones (DEEE or D3E)On November 15, 2006, a new regulation relating to Waste of the Electric and Electronic Components is set up in France, within the framework of a Directive Européenne.Des Eco organizations, approved by the State, will deal with the organization of the treatment and the recycling of your old apparatuses.Which consequences in the everyday life?The creation of a éco-participation, on any new apparatus marketed in France from on November 15, 2006.The resumption of your old apparatus by your retailer, which DARTY has practised free for several years.The éco participationIts amount, indicated on each price ticket, will be discharged by each consumer at the time of the purchase of an apparatus nine after November 15.According to a mechanism similar to the VAT, it will be collected by a éco organization, approved by the State, which will finance the companies and local authorities in load of the operations of logistics, treatment and recycling of the DEEE.Its amount, fixed by the éco organizations, varies few centimes of euros to 13 € for the apparatuses marketed at DARTY.Each supplier chooses to adhere at an éco-organization among those existing in France, and pours the éco-participation at this éco-organization for the products which it sells with the distributors.The scales of éco-participation are different from one éco-organization to another. Two similar products, but of different marks, can thus have éco-participations of different amounts.You can consult the various scales of éco-participation on the following sites: Ecosystems - ERP France - ECOLOGIC.The resumption of your old apparatusIt is free.Darty proposes to you to take again your old apparatus:Maybe, in store, at the time of the purchase of a new apparatus,Maybe, in residence, during the delivery of your apparatus of the families television, home cinema, large electric household appliances.This old apparatus is then entrusted to the companies and organizations specialized in the treatment, the valorization and the elimination of the DEEE.The choice of Darty as regards treatment of DEEEThe treatment of the DEEE is a historical concern of Darty, because, since 1973, the sign engaged by contract near its customers to remove them free from their old apparatus during the delivery of a new model (article 5 of the Contract of Confidence). To reprocess recovered waste, Darty took 3 major initiatives:The construction of a dechettery, located close to a national warehouse, in Mitry-Mory (Seine-et-Marne).A partnership concluded with Desire, Association of reintegration with a network covering the territory, which develops the old domestic machines.Today, to answer the new obligations of the European directive, Darty chose to adhere to Eco-systèmes, one éco approved organizations by the State and federating many large marks.
